You can buy 2 bags. And at yaks bend you can buy something that will increase the size of the bags from 5 to 10.

Also you have a vault you can purchase for a one time fee of 50gp I think. Has another 20 slots...

You can buy the Runes of Holding from Piken Square as well, which will come much sooner than Yak's Bend more often than not.

If somebody unintentionaly finds Yak's bend before Piken square, that's some impressive exploring.

There are 2 Merchants in AC so go to the other one and you will find the Bags.

I've always found Piken pretty early on as at least one quest takes you there. But yeah, I guess if you jump straight to missions without doing all the quests I can see how you could miss it.

Well, Yak's is still a bit of exploring as the closest mission waypoint would be Borlis Pass but I can still see how one could find it before Piken.

Isn't Yak's Bend the first Shiverpeak town you get dumped in after completing the Ascalon area missions? I don't think it is possible to bypass it if you are simply "exploring" by completing mission areas ... I guess you could walk to Borliss Pass ...

Borlis Pass is the first Shiverpeak mission town after Ascalon. Yak's bend is an outpost that requires travel one way or another.

Nope, I've done Nolani Academy twice and got dumped in Yak's Bend after both of them. Never been to Borlis Pass yet.

Agreed that it is the first "mission" town but it isn't the first town you go to. As said above after completing the Nolani Academy mission you are immediately taken to Yak's Bend.

I meant to respond to this the other day but life happened and I completely forgot about this thread. At any rate, I wanted to say that I was wrong and Yak's Bend is the town that you are taken too after completing the Nolani Academy mission. Thanks for the clairification and sorry for the misinformation.
